Do you know penguin?Have ever seen one of penguins?Do you know what is penguins look like?how can penguins survive life in the coldest place in this planet?Penguins (order sphenisciform, family spheniscidae) are classified into Aves. Penguins have adapted their physical characteristic to help them survive their life include of it’s function. This things that make penguins different from other kinds of birds.
Penguins are included into such kind of big birds in the world. The largest penguin ,the emperor penguin, have 1,1 m (3,7 ft) tall when they are standing and their weigh is about 27 to 41 kg (60-90 lb). The smallest penguin, fairy penguin, just have 41cm tall when they are standing and their weight is about 1 kg (2,2 lb). Penguins have large head. Their necks are short, and they have elongated body. Penguins have wings that are modified into flippers. The penguin’s tail is short and wedge shaped(with 14 to 18 stiff tail feather).Penguins have short and strong legs (the maximum walking speed is 3.9 kph/ 2.4 mph, and the minimum walking speed is 2,8 kph/ 1,7 mph). They also have webbed feet that set at far back on the body. They make penguins have upright posture on land and a bill.
Penguins have part of body which are important and functional. The flippers covered with short scales like feather, make penguins flexible to swim through water. The shape of bill give an aid for swallowing the prey such as mouth is line with toothed. Penguins have nictitating membrane (a third eyelid) to protect the eyes from injury. The legs, that  are set far back on the body, give an aid in streamlining and steering while swimming. The tail of penguins are used to prop their body on land.
In conclusion, penguins have several different with other kind of birds especally their physical characteristic like head, neck, body, tail, legs and feet bill and the most important is wings (that have modified into flippers). There are subtantial use for each characteristic that aid them to survive their life. For example, the flippers are used to swim fast and avoid the predators, so they can survive their life.
